Choose structure instead of collecting everything the same way

A small comparison of suppliers belongs naturally in a table, while a PDF quotation is an attachment and the supplier’s website is a link. These objects answer different questions. A table is convenient for a few related values; an attachment preserves the file you need to consult; a link points to material that may change on the web.

Place the insertion point before adding content

Click where the table, attachment or link belongs in the note before using its shortcut. Add a short explanatory label near the object so that a future reader knows why it is there. A filename alone may not explain the choice you made, and a bare URL does not say whether you saved it as a source, an example or a next action.

Make a small comparison note

Use two fictional suppliers and three fields such as delivery, minimum order and follow-up. Insert a compact table for the comparison, attach an expendable local file, and add a webpage link with a useful label. Reopen the note and check whether each object is identifiable. This is an organization exercise; these shortcuts do not turn Notes into a spreadsheet or guarantee that a linked page will stay available.
