Save a collection with a useful purpose

Bookmarking a group is useful at the end of a research session when several sources belong together. Close irrelevant tabs first, then save the remaining group under a specific topic. The folder is a collection of addresses, not an archive of what each page looked like or a backup of work inside web applications.

Use names that explain the next visit

When the bookmark dialog appears, review the title and destination folder. A page called Home is difficult to recognize later; a descriptive project or subject label helps. Keep separate folders for reference material and active work so opening a reference collection does not accidentally become a routine of launching every old tab.

Check what was actually saved

Open Bookmark Manager after creating a small test folder and inspect its entries. Toggling the bookmarks bar affects its visibility, not the underlying collection. If you need an offline copy or a record of a particular revision, use an appropriate save/export workflow instead. A bookmark may later resolve to changed, moved or restricted content.
