Identify whether the address should change

History navigation changes the place you are visiting. Reloading is intended to refresh the address already selected. When troubleshooting a web dashboard, compare its address, account and displayed filter first. A correct refresh of the wrong account still shows the wrong information for your task.

Treat forms as unfinished work

Before reloading a page with a draft, use its own save mechanism or move the draft somewhere appropriate. Browser history is not a dependable backup of every form entry. A reload can also revisit an action-related page, so follow any browser or website confirmation rather than repeatedly pressing the command when the outcome is unclear.

Use a small diagnosis sequence

On a non-sensitive reading page, reload normally once. If the issue specifically appears to be stale local content, try the cache-overriding version and compare the result. If nothing changes, record the symptoms and inspect the site’s status or help. Repetition is less informative than checking whether the page, connection or account is actually responsible.
