A shortcut reference does not change your shortcuts
KeyboardShortcuts.pro shows readable app-menu bindings. It does not remap them or run commands. Use the source app’s settings when you want to change a shortcut.

Decide whether you need a lookup or a change
If you know an action but have forgotten its keys, a reference can help you look it up without altering the application. If the binding is uncomfortable or conflicts with another tool, looking it up does not fix that configuration.
Apple documents settings for certain app-menu shortcuts, and VS Code provides its own customization tools. Those workflows change behavior. KeyboardShortcuts.pro’s reference-only role is the product’s design choice; the linked platform documentation does not endorse the app or certify its features.
Highlight a row without running its command
Clicking a row toggles a persistent coral highlight in place. It does not send keys, click another app’s menu or launch an automation.
You can mark a command you want to remember, return to the source app and decide whether to use it. Looking up an action and performing it remain separate decisions. There is no separate favorites shelf or execution button, and an unfamiliar command does not become safe merely because it appears in the reference.
Use configuration tools for remapping
- To change a binding, use the source app’s shortcut editor or the applicable macOS settings. Check conflicts and keep a note of the previous configuration.
- The reference cannot replace those controls or enumerate every hidden editor command and extension keymap. Current prices and availability come from this website; official sources explain the underlying platform features. Choose a lookup tool for recall and a configuration tool for behavior changes.
